SNICKERDOODLES


SNICKERDOODLES



Mix:          1 c butter
1 ½ c sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp soda
2 tsp cream of tartar
¼ tsp salt
2 ¾ c flour

Roll into balls.

Mix:          2 tbs sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Roll balls in cinnamon mixture.

Bake at 400' F  for 8-10 min.

Cream:                             2 c brown sugar
1 c fat
Add & mix:                       2 eggs unbeaten
2 tsp vanilla
Sift & add:                      3 ½ c flour
1 tsp b. powder
1 tsp soda
1 tsp  salt
1 c chopped nuts
Mix well.

Divide into 3 1” diamerer rolls; wrap in waxed paper. 
Chill. 
Slice aobut 3/8” thick. 

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet, 10 min at 425'F. 

Let stand to cool, then remove.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons hot water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts


Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
  3. Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
